I did not forget APFS.efi, and my hack is not messed up, it is running quite well actually, but I'm on 10.12.2 since February, and I need to update to use Xcode 9, it works on 10.12.6 but c'mon, here we GO ALL or GO HOME, but I actually found my patched AML files, it was on a folder on the desktop named 'desktop', go figure, however I think I'll go with a fresh install and restore the backup from the image I made from my drive if you don have any other ideas of why is this happening.
You know what I think, I Belive my problem here is that, the High Sierra updater App, is just mounting a virtual image and telling the firmware where it is, instead of making a literal bootable installer partition, because I use a very recent SMBIOS, maybe a older one might have different effects. Do you think this is a possibility or Am I out of my mind?
