I think @Tlacuas is saying it "just worked" with normal battery patches...

Hummmm....

I though that when i first read this ..... I tried going back to my Dual Battery DSDT (BAT methods patched correctly) along with the previous version of your battery monitor which used to work (and still does) with Mavericks ......

I also tried updating to the latest HWMonitor & plugins but no way to show two batteries as per his post as far as i can see ....

Unless his DSDT handles multiple batteries in a radically different way I cant see how that works
Is he using an old or special build of your Battery Monitor Kext ?
Have you removed the dual battery support from the latest build .... ?

The best solution for me was to change the BAT2 method to return Zero so when Laptop is running on the sheet (secondary) battery the status shows up as plugged into AC/Charging and stays at 100%, once sheet battery is discharged and laptop switches to internal (primary) battery then battery status changes to discharging with correct % and time remaining ....

I suspect that is the case.

I don't think I'm the one to ask about that...

I haven't changed anything.
