Skylake HD530 - Sleeps but won't wake

I've got Z170X Designare, F20. In my case setting fix shutdown helped. But I had to do it in config.plist. Adding this fix in the boot clover menu (where you can choose disk to boot from) didn't make difference.

Hope that will help you Tony!

Here is a final solution for Intel HD 530 sleep/awake issue.

1.) Must be installed newest MacOS sierra 10.12.4
2.) Delete all HD530 glitch fix and patches.
In clover Graphics option :Inject Intel - No , ig-platform ID - no value

Now Your Intel HD 530 works native out of box.

3.) In clover boot menu set darkwake=10

Thats all now computer sleep and awake with no issue !

In bios I set graphic memory to 64 MB , and graphic card first - PCIE1.

This solution was verify on Gigabyte Z170-HD3P/i7-6700K connected to LCD by DVI output.

Of course no second graphic card only Intel HD530.

I think that on another Z/H 170 motherboard result will be the same.

Can you share your Energy Saver settings as an image in System Preferences?

Edit: I made these changes and sleep works but monitor still does not wake up.

Same here, it didn't work ...

No change settings in Energy Saver only defaults. Sleep/awake verify many times with successful.
After Mac OS update 10.12.4 sleep begin works sometime on different settings.
But ultimate adjustment was darkwake=10 and now sleep/awake works always.
Tomorrow I check HDMI output and connect two LCD.

Keep in mind that if you don't inject AAPL,ig-platform-id, a default is selected by AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext.
Looking at the disassembly of the kext, the default is 0x19120000.
So... injecting AAPL,ig-platform-id=0x19120000 is the same as not injecting.

Either way monitor still does not wake up with HDMI connection.

I can confirm properly sleep/awake HD 530 by HDMI output and with two LCD - HDMI and DVI.
Maybe this settings works correctly only with this motherboard Z170-HD3P (bios F5)...

But use HD530 in full ATX computer is not a good deal. I will make hackintosh based on the ITX motherboard . I have case that no room for GT/GTX GPU and external power supply about 150W only.
So very interesting for me that this trick works on any ITX Z170 motherboard. Intel HD530 is
perfect for very small (and quiet) computers )

I can confirm it's not working for me. I upgraded to 10.12.4 on my i5 6600K/HD530 without removing the HD530 patches since someone posted above that it wouldn't make a difference. Also changed darkwake to 10. The only weird thing that happened as a result of the upgrade is that although my audio still works fine as before, the list of output audio devices in my sound preferences changed from English to Spanish. That is the only place I have found Spanish text in the OS' UI.

When I put the computer to sleep, it goes to sleep fine. But when waking, the PC wakes up but the display doesn't and then the PC resets itself.

EDIT: I had already updated Clover to r4035 before the 10.12.4 update.
