Just made a major step!

With information posted by Ggleb in this thread!! (four posts prior)

I have the card recognized and all resolutions available.

Simply add the below to your 'apple.boot.plist' after using multibeast and installing the new drivers.

<key>PCIRootUID</key>
<string>1</string>

Restart and you (may) be up and running... he used this method with a GTX465, so if you having issues with any other cards... you may want to try this technique.

Flam4cuda is only detecting 64 CUDA cores of the 192 available.... any tips?

Not much success on my system. Using an EVGA 450 1 GB board.

When following the directions in the guide I get to the grey apple bbot screen, but no rotating clock icon.

Deleted NVenabler from extensions, will boot to desktop, but only in 1024x768 resolution. "About this Mac" shows "GPU" with only 32MB of memory.

Added PCIroot fix per previous notes, but no change in behavior (hangs on boot with NVenabler present, or boots to desktop in 1024x768).

Double checked to make sure Chameleon RC 5 is being used, and reinstalled the Tonymac nVidia package, no change in results.

Pretty sure it is something simple, but not sure what to try next.....

Finally got everything working except for one thing. Rotation is not enabled. My second monitor is in portrait mode for word processing and browsing some websites. Any suggestions on how I can get this enabled?

Successful instal yesterday with a 480,i7 X58-UDR3 Rev2.0.

Used a DSDT, iBoot-GE multibeast.

DVD drive still froze and wouldn't eject after the snow leopard disk completed installation but ah quibbles.

Do I still have to use Multibeast to install hDA889 audio kexts?

even after using a DSDT
