Sierra hangs

After the first part of the installation it stalls after it had rebooted

Try using some boot flags maybe. Theres alot of trial and error in getting it to boot for the first time. maybe try cpus=1, or npci=0x3000, or PCIRootUID=1. These ones worked for me and i had a similar problem They are case sensitive.
