Comments/Summary:
I've always had an AMD build, and it's always had macOS on it. This is the latest Ryzen build with macOS Big Sur as a daily driver OS. Currently running nice and smooth. Even sleep works
Install Notes:
USB created with createinstallmedia. OpenCore with AMD Vanilla patches.
I never used a guide to install this system as I've done it more times than I can could count but I've also tested the tutorial from Dortania here, https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/
This tutorial will result in the same installed AMD system. Read the guide step by step and refer to the AMD config setup for either 15h/16h CPU or 17h.
What Works:
Everything I've tested
What Doesn't Work:
Nothing so far...
Geekbench Results:
CPU:
iMacPro1,1 - Geekbench Browser
Benchmark results for an iMacPro1,1 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor.
