Comments/Summary:
I've always had an AMD build, and it's always had macOS on it. This is the latest Ryzen build with macOS Big Sur as a daily driver OS. Currently running nice and smooth. Even sleep works :)

Install Notes:
USB created with createinstallmedia. OpenCore with AMD Vanilla patches.
I never used a guide to install this system as I've done it more times than I can could count but I've also tested the tutorial from Dortania here, https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/
This tutorial will result in the same installed AMD system. Read the guide step by step and refer to the AMD config setup for either 15h/16h CPU or 17h.

What Works:
Everything I've tested :)

What Doesn't Work:
Nothing so far...

Geekbench Results:
CPU:
OpenCL: Metal:

@Shaneee,

Did dortania's guide work w/o mods? If you had to do something not in his guide, please show your changes in the OP. TIA.

Didn't use the guide per say so I've updated my notes.

Dortania guide has been updated the original and the move from github and then back had some slight errors or unneeded settings. Much improved, Open Core Sanity checker is also a great tool with AMD settings included. The hardest part about OC is the changes that occur with new releases.

First AMD User Build, good work!

"Everything works" so did you configure the USB ports individually?

:)

Attached EFI folder would help a lot, I'm on the way with my first Ryzen config with B550 and 3700x, fingers crossed.

Thanks @Shaneee
I have already followed your AMD Experimental Patches - macOS Big Sur and the tutorial from Dortania :
For my Ryzen 7 2700X - Asrock Taichi X570 - XFX RX 570 build
Installed Big Sur Public Beta 1
All works fine !
