Hi, tony, toleda, and others.
I just dled your alc892's achieve. I found that the file "AppleHDAController" within "AppleHDA.kext\Contents\PlugIns\AppleHDAController.kext\Contents\MacOS" has problem. When I tried to open it with hexeditor, it shows a dialog to notice my the file has been damaged.
After that, I tried to open it with other app but still same problem.
Then, I dled it again and error is same there.

I have notice this post:
Oh shoot.

I just tried the patched 892 appleHDA with my GA-H97N-WIFI, and I can't boot anymore.
....

Hi Toleda,

I have a Gigabyte H97N-WiFi, Revision 1.0. I installed the fix from Multibeast as well as the ALC892 kext, but I still don't have audio.
Here's my IOREG: http://d.pr/f/cno0

I hope I've done it right.
What should I do?
and
...ALC 892 is not working with the existing 10.9.3 fix. No outputs/inputs.

I finally got the onboard audio (Realtek ALC892) for my Z97 build working. However, I can't seem to use the front audio jack, as well as the green port on the motherboard (which I know is a known issue). ...
I would doubt that whether these problems are caused by a wrong file.
I mean maybe the achieve has been damaged on server.

Just remind.
Cheers

Did a lot of research and arrived at an incorrect conclusion. There is nothing wrong the server or with the MultiBeast 892 edited AppleHDA.kext with the 9 Series patch. No audio was caused by an incorrectly edited 9 Series 10.9.4 AppleIntelFrambufferAzul.kext; see Post #49, Quick Fix for Intel HD 4600 Graphics Acceleration on 9 Series Motherboards - Page 5

I have tested....
rear black orange work for me so is the rear pink mic.
rear green is not working it just makes some noises
and its the one output i need most since i multiboot.
Dont know about the rest ports.

...ALC1150

Testers needed: 9 Series/ALC1150

I would be happy to help as I have a Z97N-Gaming 5 with ALC1150.

However, I am using the Clover patch method for AppleHDA.kext as described here: https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC

Results with AppleHDA.kext v2.6.3f4 (10.9.4)
  • No back panel audio out (6 ports / 0 working (green/orange/black))
  • No HDMI audio out via HD4600
  • Front panel headphone port working

Fail, ignored the request.
Orange and black are likely working.
10.9.4 HD4600 HDMI audio is not supported at this time.

If you run the experiment as described, HD4600 HDMI audio is working in that solution.

If you run the experiment as described, HD4600 HDMI audio is working in that solution.

So to join in on your experiment and to have HDMI audio working, I should disable Clover patching and use Multibeast. Do I have to delete everything or can I disable in config? Once I switch to Multibeast do I have to worry about HDAEnabler1.kext?

Disable Clover patch method:
Remove EFI/Clover/kexts/10.9/realtekALC.kext
Remove EFI/Clover/config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/Layout (1)
Remove EFI/Clover/config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/AppleHDA/Resources/xml>zml
Remove EFI/Clover/config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/AppleHDA/RealtekALCxxx
Remove patched S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext

Any way to disable rather than removing the kext patch entries?

Enable Multibeast 6.3.1 method:
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Intel 9 series Motherboard Support
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Optional EFI Installed Bootloader Support
Install
