Quick Fix for Onboard Audio on 9 Series Motherboards

Bad idea, the ssdt is for 7 Series. 9 Series dsdt/ssdt is a brand new ball game with new rules. PM is the only ssdt working in 9 series at this point.

removed the HDEF entry from SSDT and used HDAenabler module method. Still no devices.
Is this the recommended method?

EDIT: FYI Also completely removed SSDT, using HDAEnabler module method and still no love. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks for everything.

Z97MX-GAMING 5 + 10.9.4 -> Clover install -> This kext -> Some audio devices appear -> No sound (rear/frontpanel)

Thanks for the work guys! Hope there's a working audio soonish!

I finally got the onboard audio (Realtek ALC892) for my Z97 build working. However, I can't seem to use the front audio jack, as well as the green port on the motherboard (which I know is a known issue). Are there any fixes anyone has found for either of these issues? I'm currently using the orange port on the audio port.

My specs:
i7-4790k
Asus Z97-A Series Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3 2400MHz Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB

I followed this thread as well as http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/112458-mavericks-audio-realtek-alc-applehda-guide-10.html and http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/112461-mavericks-no-audio-realtek-alc-applehda-guide-58.html to get to where I am now.

Also DPCIManager shows 2 other audio devices, one being my graphics card "ATI R6xx HDMI" and the other is called "Intel (Unknown)". Do these affect my current settings for audio (for example could one of these things be stopping front audio jack output)?

Thanks guys for any help!

PS- I'm currently running OSX 10.9.4

Attach the installed AppleHDA.kext and IOReg/IOJones.

What do you mean by "installed AppleHDA and IOReg/IOJones" sadly I didn't backup my native AppleHDA.kext while I patched it over with AppleHDA-1150-9-series.zip (with kextbeast) - didn't do anything else.

Can you please guide me, what I should do next - I'm total noob in this hack world.. started yesterday
:geek:

Regards!

just confirming here as well that the newly posted AzulFrambuffer kext fixed the audio issue i reported with 10.9.4
Audio now works as it did on 10.9.3.
Thanks so much Toleda!
