Hey, yes I do have the same Mobo. For me one of my initial hurdles was the BIOS. I needed the one that supported the 9th gen CPUs, but not the newest one. I'd start off using the onboard graphics and add drivers later, it's one less hurdle to getting started. Can you boot in verbose mode (Clover Bootloader screen>press spacebar on the appropriate boot drive) and then take a photo of the code where it's getting stuck? There are so many different factors at play, but I found the BIOS was what took me the longest to figure out.
