Popping sound from Speakers. Audio Problem

I'm trialling Imac 14,2 system def when I came across this problem. I didn't want to change my def just yet.

I went to Applications -> Utilities -> Audio Midi setup and changed my Hz rate to 88200.0. That seems to have fixed it. I can play iTunes and do the startup and shut down without the loud popping I had before.

**4 hours later**Disregard this solution** - After a couple of hours of behaving, I was suddenly met with a loud pop from the speakers once again. After peeling myself off the ceiling, it looks like that response failed. Back to MacPro3,1

If you want a quick fix without changing your System profile, You can download this app and install it. It prevents yours audio driver from falling asleep.

This works for Clover and Unibeast.

Also you want to set your computer to the right system profile because it will function better. I know when i set mine to the standard MacPro 3.1 I had a ton of issues with running VMWare software.

Hope this helps!
