Hello everyone. I am planning on building my first hackintosh, I haven't got a desktop (only a laptop), so this will be a fully built-from-scratch system. My end goal is to run mac OS, which will be very fast, some occasional gaming sometimes (not super intensive), some photoshop work, mostly work (which is coding and programming). I know this is not very demanding, but I am prepared to spend some money on it, as long as it will last for a long time (maybe few years without upgrades), will be easy to upgrade in the future and of course mac OS should work perfectly. I am using linux right now (dual-boot with Windows, but spend most of my time on Linux), but I am expecting mac OS to fully substitute linux. There might be dual-booting with Windows, but I am not sure yet.
I've done quite a lot of research and this is the list of components I came up with:
mobo: Asus Maximus VII Hero
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
video: GeForce gtx 770 (2GB)
ram: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 16gb kit (8GB x 2)
system drive: Samsung 840 Pro (256GB)
storage drive: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 (1TB)
power supply: Corsair CS550M (550W)

First of all, I have checked via some online tool for the power supply, and I believe 500W should be enough for the system I am getting, just wanted to make sure that I am not wrong, so can someone please tell me if this will in fact be enough or shall I get more Watts?
Secondly, does this overall look good or is there something else I need or maybe something I don't need or can substitute for something else, to save some money?
Finally, can someone please recommend a good case for this? I would like to buy something for around $100, but ready to spend a bit more ($150 maximum) if it's really worth it. As I am trying to get really good parts I would also not mind it looking good, so let's say this is a factor too :)
Finally, I wanted to ask whether the cooler is necessary if I am not planning to overclock?

All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated and thanks to everyone in advance.

I would get a Fractal Design Define R4 Silent. Comes in black, steel grey or white for $99.99 at NewEgg.
