Hi all,
I've a problem with audio that doesn't work any more after update to mavericks 10.9.3 on my hackintosh
For that I've read is something concerning audio kexts that are overwritten.
i'don't know what to do to solve the problem and of what I've to be carefully after a new update on my hackintosh
Thanks
HEY do one thing run multibeast without dsdt audio driver ALC 898

Upgrade by App Store and it's work fine for me only need reinstall audio driver and upgrade nvidia web driver to the new one and replace libclh.dylib on original NVIDIA OSX kext with libclh.dylib that come with NVIDIA Web Driver. My system: 3.2Ghz Intel Core i7-Socket 2011, Asus Sabertoooth X79, Asus Nvidia Poseidon GTX780 3GB, Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB.

GA-Z87MX-D3H
GeForce GTX 760

Used the combo update. Followed Stork's instructions and everything went well without a hitch.

ran perfectly smoothly on

Motherboard : Asus P8Z77-V LX
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 2x4Go DDR3 PC12800 CAS 9 LP
CPU : Intel Core i5 3570K
drive : SSD Intel 330 Maple Crest
GPU : Sapphire Radeon HD 7750

just followed the guide on this page.

When you say you connected the Thunderbolt cable, what do you mean? You connected it to the internal graphics? And to no monitor?

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-HD3

Update from store to 10.9.3
Reboot

-v

AppleRTC(2.0) error dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFamily(1.4)
Sometime SMC loads and stops other times just stops at the aforementioned error.
Can boot into safe mode using UseKernelCache=No

YMMV - still working out how to resolve.

Article: OS X 10.9.3 Update

I had a similar issue which I finally got working (mostly)

My machine is a developer machine, so I'm just using the onboard HD4600 graphics on my Core i7-4770K. Apparently the 10.9.3 update also updates the drivers for Intel Graphics - which caused my machine to hang on boot.

Using my original OSX install USB stick, I was able to boot to terminal mode, remove the 10.9.3 drivers, and copy the drivers from the install stick onto my machine. Once in terminal mode, type the following lines...

cd /Volumes/<YourVolumeNameHere>/System/Libraries/Extensions/
mkdir drvrback
mv AppleIntelHD* drvrback/
mv AppleIntelF* drvrback/
cp -R /System/Libraries/Extensions/AppleIntelHD* .
cp -R /System/Libraries/Extensions/AppleIntelF* .

this enabled my machine to boot-up.

-Dan

Using this method I have also been able to get my hd4600 build to boot.

However, graphics seem glitchy, flickering in launchpad, safari etc. are you experiencing these problems?
