    Today Apple released 10.9.3, the third major update to OS X Mavericks. Update any supported system using the built-in Software Update functionality through the Mac App Store, or by using the standalone installer available from Apple.com.

    Be sure to back up any important data, and if possible clone your hard drive before applying the update. If you have any issues post-update, boot using UniBeast and type UseKernelCache=No.

    What we know about 10.9.3 so far...

    • OS X Build 13D65
    • 13.2.0 Darwin kernel
    • Support for "Retina" pixel enhanced resolutions at 60hz on 4K displays (Testing)
    • Updated Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD graphics drivers
      • If you use patched or modified drivers, you will need to re-apply changes to the updated drivers.
      • NVIDIA alternate Web Drivers have been updated to 334.01.01f01.
    • This update will replace your audio drivers.
      • You will have to reinstall AppleHDA using MultiBeast before or after reboot
      • If you use VoodooHDA, you will not need to make any modifications
    • Storage drivers updated - TRIM patch will need to be reapplied before or after reboot.
    • Install OS X Mavericks App Updated
      • If you downloaded Mavericks from the App Store prior to today, and you want to have the latest version on your backup installer USB, simply log into the Mac App Store and click Download. When the download finishes, the app will automatically open. The updated 10.9.3 Install OS X Mavericks App can be found in the Applications folder. You may then re-create your UniBeast installation USB.

    Testing is now underway- this post will be updated. Good luck, and let us know how it goes! Report your results here.

    Article: OS X 10.9.3 Update

    Here's the step by step way to update:
    :ch: Repair Permissions using the Disk Utility on the drive to be updated;*
    :ch: Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;
    :ch: Download the latest MultiBeast for Mavericks which has the latest ACL8xy audio drivers**;
    :ch: Use the Software Update to download and install 10.9.3 (recommend using the Combo Update);
    :ch: Re-boot;
    :ch: Run MultiBeast for Mavericks and just select your audio driver to install and TRIM (if needed);
    :ch: Re-boot; and
    :ch: Repair Permissions again.*

    If you have TRIM enabled, check to see if it was affected by this update.

    * You can use the Terminal instead of Disk Utility if you feel comfortable with a UNIX command:
    Code (Text):
    sudo diskutil repairPermissions /
    **Important: If you've used a MultiBeast version previous to MulitBeast version 6.3 and updated to 10.9.3, you should do a complete MultiBeast configuration "load" using your previously saved ".mb" file. Multibeast 6.3 changes how audio is done and needs Chimera v3+ to run correctly.

    Thanks! Combo Link added.

    A few things about the update-

    1. It fixes the Pstates read issue with SJ's DPCIManager.
    2. Intel HD 4600 graphics now show VRAM (Dynamic, Max): 1536 MB instead of 1024 MB
    3. New monitor icon in System Profiler view

    I have a standard build using only parts from this site (Ivy Bridge). All works fine, reinstalled audio driver, quick second reboot, all done. Magic as always. Fine work you do!

    Can't wait to try this. However, I'll backup with TM first then swap the installed SSD with OS X 10.9.2 for a blank SSD then restore it first.

    Anyone with an nVidia card notice if power management works without having to disable GPU OpenCL?

    How does it play with Nvidia web drivers? Does it fix the opencl graphics power management bug on Kepler cards?
