f02: Pascal support?
Can you elaborate? Where did you find the info or when is it planned?pascal will support from 358.66
The latest version. The workaround solution is working and adobe is starting a beta program for after effects to fix that issue. What version of Premiere are you running? I just opened up a project in Premiere Pro 2015.2 and didn't have any issues. I have not updated to 2105.3 yet so that might be the difference.
Same problem for me also now i got an update from nvida all problems solved BTW Metal playback engine in adobe works fabulous..Refer attachamentHi,
I use a GTX 980 inside a genuine Mac Pro 3,1 and Adobe video apps ( Premiere, After effects, Media Encoder ) crash the system at start when they try to load the media core. Photoshop works fine for me too.
Do you think I could tweak a kext on a my Mac to roll back to the previous Nvidia webdriver? When I updated to 10.11.6 the system said it was not compatible but I guess it is a casual task in the hackintosh world to make the system believe something else. Thanks for your help.
There is no (as in none) support for Nvidia Pascal chipset graphics cards (GTX 10-series cards and Titan X) in the current beta or release version of the Nvidia web drivers. Don't expect support before mid to late August - at the earliest. If it follows the Maxwell driver release, expect support with Sierra's release and Nvidia drivers for Sierra.pascal will support from 358.66
Thanks Jim,This drive is working fine with my MSI GTX 970. It should work with ALL Maxwell GPUs because the underlying architecture is the same regardless of manufacturer or cooling design. My guess is you either do not have nvda_drv=1 in your config.plist or your nvram has been cleared if you were relying on that.
