** Solved **

Hey all,

Just finished my installation of Sierra. My build:

MB: Asus Z170-E / 32 GB / i7 6700K
SSD : Evo 960 m.2 / Evo 850 1 TB SSD
GFX : ASUS GTX 980 Matrix Platinum

All went fine, had to fiddle around a bit to get this m2 going but it works now.

I've installed the latest webdrivers from nVidia, if I try to use them my screen gets all distorted. I am able to boot up fine with the nv_disabled=1 flag (screen in 1984 resolution and all that good jazz).

I am a hackintosh n00b and like to know how to fix this issue. Are there others with the same problem?

I'll attach a photo.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for this great site!

All solved now.

I was prepping it on a Iiyama G-MASTER 4k monitor. Though the artifacted screen I saw that the monitor was detected as some 61" projector using a 3800 x something resolution. Once I switched the display to "Large Text" everything was fine, but I still had the huge fonts everywhere but the screen itself was crisp. The "Large text" resolution was the only one that worked btw.

Once I hooked it up to my 2x Eizo 32" 4k monitors it just booted up and no problems at all. I have 2x 4K running now.

Hello.
I've got the same specs.
Well, almost the exact same specs.
NVidia GTX 970 for graphics.
Could you post the step-by-step process?
It would REALLY make things easier...
Best regards!
