Nvidia 1000-series support

Hi, I'm looking to build a Hackintosh in a month or so. What are my best GPU options?

With the 1000-series being released a while ago, the Nvidia 900-series does not seem worth it anymore. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up so I'm hoping to pick up a bunch of components for a good price.

Do you guys expect the 1000-series to be working soon? Or would I need to buy a 900-series... or will there be AMD support?

There are a million threads on here about the 1000 series cards and to be honest no one knows if / when they will be supported. There are no legitamate Apple computers with these cards so it is up to NVIDIA to create the drivers. They are under no obligation to do so, so it is on their time table. There are ideas floating around that by the first . 1 update of Siera we might get some but that is all speculation.

Trust me I am anxious to get a new card as well during black friday and I might suffer through using WIndows only for a while to get one.
