IOReg says audio is configured correctly and no audio player is running, user problem. Attach an IOReg with an iTunes playing.

ok, here is a copy of IOreg with iTunes running, AND a screen cap of iTunes actually running.
and before you ask. the speakers work. They work on my macbook pro, and they work when i boot into windows.

IOReg shows the 2nd Line Out selected which has no port associated with the selection; no sound.

Well. I don't know why, I still have it on internal speakers for output.
So how can I fix this?

Hi Toleda,

I hope you might be able to help a newbie Hackintosh build.

My problem is that I can see devices in audio, but sound does not come out of the front panel. I have just connected some Turtle Beach headphones to the rear outputs, and when the USB headphone lead and the green connector are both plugged in I get sound. When I connect both USB and green to the front panel I get no sound. When I connect just the green to the rear outputs I get no sound.

I shall attempt to post all required info below, apologies if I miss anything:

1. El Capitan/Gigabyte H97m D3h/F7 bios/i3 4170/GTX 950

sound does not come out of the front panel

IOReg shows Headphones (correct) however, no audio is playing. What are you using to verify sound?
IOReg does not show Line In for the front panel mic, hardware problem.

Since all of my info is on Audio ID 1, maybe I need to change it to Audio ID 2? If so, how would I do that?
