b. Connected to the proper ports on the motherboard (was working before changing to OSX 10.12.1)
c. Currently 2 channels working see bellow for other description

Previous OS 10.10.X everything was working with following setup:
DSDT Free
ALC898
Option HDA Enabler ==> Audio ID1

Was successful in partially getting this working:
ALC898
Optional HD3000 / HD 4000 / HD530 HDMI Audio

Currently what is working with this setup:
1. Audio 2 Channel
2. Microphone

#2 is working only with “Optional HD3000 / HD 4000 / HD530”)

Need some assistance in getting this working for the following:
1. Full Audio Channels so can create an Aggregate Device for 5.1 surround.
2. Microphone (Just as it is now).

Please help.

Audio ID: 3 does not support 5.1, not required for HD4600 HDMI audio, not applicable
Audio ID: 1 files?????

OK ... so this is not a new build. This is a new Re-Build on a known working system.
Previous OS 10.10.X everything was working with following setup:
DSDT Free
ALC898
Option HDA Enabler ==> Audio ID1

I have set this up with
ALC898 and included "Optional HD3000 / HD 4000 / HD530 HDMI Audio" only because this was the only configuration that I tried (and I tried all of them) that the Microphone worked. I need the microphone for using the computer for work.

The way I had it before all the 5.1 channels were working in combined device, and they each worked separately. The way I tested this build was enable the device and then try to play each of the "Line Out's" separately.
When I tried with ALC898 without the "Optional HD3000 / HD 4000 / HD530 HDMI Audio" all the devices were shown, but nothing other then Speakers or Line Out 1 were working. The others "Line Out 2 and Line Out 3" were not playing sounds and the microphone was not working.

So I tried every combination and in none of them with ALC898 + Optional Something or other, but none of them were able to produce the sound over the other two channels. So what I am looking from is for someone that knows the Audio portion to recommend what would get the same results as the 10.10 (Multibeast 7.5) config.
Here is a snapshot of a known good working config from 10.10 - Multibeast 7.5. and what I have now in MultiBeast 9.0.1.

Everything looks working in the new config other then the Audio. So if anyone could help I would be grateful.

Ignored Post #1085, not good.
Complete waste of time. MultiBeast 7 audio and MultiBeast 9 audio are much different.
One audio selection: MultiBeast 9+ > Drivers > Audio > RealtekALCxxx √ ALC898
Restart.
See Problem Reporting, Post #1; attach all requested files

Hi Toleda, I too am having problems with my audio after upgrading from El Capitan to macOS 10.12.1 Sierra.
1. I don't get any error message, just the volume control at the top of the screen is grayed out.
2. Asus P8Z77-V LE Plus MB bios 0910 05/04/2014. My CPU is:i7 3770k. My graphics card is a Nvidia Ge210
3. I used the UniBeast: Install macOS Sierra on Any Supported Intel-Based PC as the guide. On Step 5 in used the latest version of MultiBeast 9.01. I believe I have an ALC889.

Not sure what other information you might need. On a side note, I have two monitor plugged into my graphics card. One using the DVI port NEC 2EN33 and an LG monitor plugged into the HDMI port - The NEC monitor works but the monitor plugged into the HDMI port does not. When I had El Capitan installed, this configuration worked fine with both monitors working simultaneously. While I would like to get those two working together, I primarily want to get the audio working.

Thanks in advance. Let me know if additional information is required.

so,
I initially installed macOS Sierra about a week ago and since then have been attempting to get. audio to work. I'm new to forums as a whole so bear with me here. I'm using onboard graphics on my i7-4790k chip, connected to an insignia TV (temporarily) via HDMI, and zero sound. Initially I had no audio devices, but after a few reboots some have popped up but still no audio through any of them. Multibeast would fail whenever I tried to install any audio at all. The files attached are all the files that I could find.

no audio through any of them
Installed at least 3 different audio methods, audio only works with one method installed.
IOReg shows no audio source, what are you using to verify sound?
