Hello!
I've been trying to install macOS Sierra on my Sony VAIO laptop with Intel Core i5-2430M Sandy Bridge (all specifications are in my profile), using this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/
Initially the kernel panic is "no HPETs available", but the following one appears which is related to IntelCPUPowerManagement.
I read in the guide two solutions for the kernel panic related to CPU Power Management which is more common in Sandy Bridge laptops with OEM CPU, so I modified the config.plist file but it did not work (I attached the file in a .zip along with screenshot).
So I searched Google for solutions to the first kernel panic that I mentioned (no HPETs available) and I found a patch which I had to apply to the DSDT, so I followed this other guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/, to patch those files and pass them to the bootloader (Clover), but the kernel panic persists (I attached these files in another .zip).
I hope it has been clear enough, I am not an expert, therefore I would appreciate anyone who could help me.
PD: Sorry for my English.
