No HDMI Audio with ML 10.8.4 VIA VT1708S

Hi everyone,

I have following setup:

Intel G2020 Ivy Bridge 2.9 Ghz Intel HD Graphics (not 2500, not 3000, etc, just HD Graphics)
ASUS P8H77-I patched BIOS
Zotac Nvidia GT630 Rev. 2 Kepler
Mountain Lion 10.8.4 Unibeast and Multibeast, no DSDT
Ethernet, Graphics everything works

This Hackintosh is used as a Server/HTPC so I really need audio.

I have tried several kext files (Voodoo 2.7.2 till 2.8.x), several tutorial but without success.

I found a custom kext (cannot find the link anymore), it shows hdmi out in preferences, but still no audio . More over the volume bar at the top is grey and cannot be manipulated. E.g. the kext from the first link doesn't work at all, followed every step which he mentioned and tried also with kext utility, no success

I googled over 20 hours with this issue and really need help.

Use a USB sound card instead. VIA Audio is not a good choice.

thank you for the answer, but this is not an option for me.

I used this machine with linux before, audio was just fine with a 5.1 high quality sound system.

Can anyone help me please?
