No Audio after 10.8.3 update.

Hi,

After the 10.8.3 update i have not been able to enable sound, I have followed numerous guides and deleted/restored/backed up numerous kexts, and using MB to instal the correct driver does not work either. Many of the guides I have found I find difficult to follow towards the end and I simply cannot find a solution.

All I need is for someone to talk me through a solution in Layman's Terms!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

One check mark, MultiBeast 5.3 or newer - Select/Drivers & Bootloaders/Drivers/Audio/Realtek ALC8xx/Without DSDT/ALC889

Check, Still no luck.

Two choices:
1. Clean install, eliminates the stuff you tried that didn't work.
2. Troubleshooting, Post #1, III. Audio Problem Solving in ML: MultiBeast - No Audio/Solutions and Problem Reporting.

If you can't fix audio, see Part IV. Problem Reporting.
