Hi folks,
I have read through some threads that most closely match what I'm looking for but haven't quite found a solution yet.
I managed to get my Hackintosh working with Mavericks, with help from some moderators in the SL forum, and with help from the tools, iBoot Haswell, UniBeast and MultiBeast.
I experienced a problem keeping my WiFi connected to the internet, but after reading a thread where someone else seemed to have the same issue... I copied the solution and (by using Chameleon Wizard) changed my SMBios from a Mac Pro (3,1) to an iMac (14,2).
(See post: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/136321-success-tp-link-tl-wdn4800-revision-1-3-pcie-wifi-card-os-x-10-9-4-a.html#post844145)
... This seemed to fix the problem, stabilising my WiFi internet connection.
However, now when I go to System Preferences > Displays, I only have the option 1024x768.
Before, when I had the original Mac Pro setting, the display must have been much bigger. Possibly 1920x1080 ...
... When I tried to use Chameleon Wizard to change back to a Mac Pro setting, the screen options still seem to be still stuck on 1024x768.
Q: Please can anyone tell me, how can I activate some bigger screen options (while hopefully not compromising my new stable WiFi connection)?
Thank you for reading
