Hi, I am new to this, and got Mountain Lion working on my Lenovo Y570 laptop. It has a core i7 processor and a discrete graphics card (which I disabled for boot reasons). When I hit the power button to turn it on, all the fans start and lights turn on, and after about a second it shuts off, like if you held down the power button, then about a second later it turns back on and boots normally. How can I have it not do this? And how can I enable the graphics card without having boot issues? I do not have a DSDT but using multibeast I got everything working except for the wifi and USB 3.0. Also the fan seems like it is not running nearly as fast as it was with a clean install of windows 7, which concerns me as I am mostly planning to use this for rendering videos.

I also have the same laptop. Did you first install Snow Leopard? I can install Snow Leopard but I can't get it to boot.
