NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 won't work in Mountain Lion *FIX INSIDE*

I am having the same problem.
This is the only way I can get USB3 to work on a GAZ68AP-D3 (2.0) Ua5.
CalDigit works and then gives me KP at reboot, with Lacie on Multibeast 5.2.1 the connected drives do not show up.
Anybody solved this no-shutdown issue?

This helped with my USB 3.0 ports on a DX58SO2. This was a hard board to work with but with a little reading, it is up and running fully with sound and CUDA 5.0.61 functioning properly. Thanks Tony for Multibeast.
