Motherboard
Gigabyte Z490 Gaming x
CPU
i7-10700
Graphics
Intel HD 630
Was struggling over one week
Random restart, check the console app, no crash report log

Trying to reinstall, the problem still exists
(Last install have some glitch on installation process, display turn off, then turn on again without restart)

What im doing
- install using opencore 0.9.6 (latest, using guide from dortania opencore, downloading mac os using my mbp 2015)
- found that invalid USBMap can cause random reboot, already re-map it, but no luck
- trying to patch igpu connector, no luck (but now, when im opening app that have black background, some part of that isnt correct color (greyish, instead black, im opening vscode)

What im curious (on the last image), already updated the firmware on the motherboard, still displaying that error message (don't know if it has an impact or not)

What im must to do ?
SSD is a brand new, is the motherboard fault ?

im afraid that my ssd will die.

Below is my setup outside profile detail

Kingston HyperX 2x16 GB
MacOS Monterey 12.6.9
WD SN770 Black 512gb NVME
iGpu Attached to hdmi - hdmi to my monitor

Below is my settings,

Really appreciate your hints/fix

Thanks.

your USB ports are not setup correctly, should only have 15 ports max active

I didn't see that image before, try a bios update

also your hardware profile, as your i5-6500 is a skylake your graphics should say Intel HD 530

already updated 2 times, that error message still exists ..
typo. already changed

It may be worth "updating" the BIOS with a slightly earlier version of firmware. To do this you might need to use a USB boot stick rather than the standard BIOS routine.

It seems the ME error is related to BIOS CPU code and may cause overheating. (May not, can't check for you). A known MSI issue.

no idea why you have set them all to 255 (internal) for?

maybe go back and re read the guide

Forgive me. Which value is meant?

The value for "USBConnector".

"255" indicates an internal port.
"3" indicates an external port capable of USB3 and USB2 speeds.
"0" indicates an external USB2-only port
"9" indicates an external Type-C port which is switchable.
"10" indicates and external Type-C port which changes location when rotated.

Your motherboard features an extra ASMedia USB controller for the High Speed ports so these are treated separately - as we can see in your USBPorts.lext.

All the standard ports in your configuration have been set as "255" which is wrong. The Intel ports on the back-panel, for example, will be "0" or "3". The internal ports - like Bluetooth or LED - yes, will be "255".

:)
