Mavericks Install Problem - ASRock H87 Pro 4

Hello,

I have just built a PC with an ASRock H87 Pro 4 motherboard and Intel I5 Haswell Processor.

I have tried to install Mavericks on the setup using UniBeast, however when you hit enter to boot the installer, the apple screen shows for about half a second, then the system reboots.


Please could someone help me overcome this problem...

Thanks for your response, however I can't seem to find anything relevant.

i think I need to patch my uefi bit can't find a patch

Not relevant?

You need to either patch the kernel (instructions/patch provided in linked post), or patch your BIOS. You can decide which is easier.

Alternate option: Use Clover which has a patch for this built-in.
