I had Windows installed with senzitive data on my ssd and I wanted MacOs Also on ssd. I had to install clover on my orher hd not to mess with Windows efi partition from ssd. If you use separate driver, install clover on the HDD where MacOs is installedWhy did you install clover on another drive ?
If i have a Hd with sierra, and another one for windows, where do i have to install clover ? Thanks
You can try my efi folder, mine is for Asus x99 deluxe u3.1 but maybe will be similarities to get you a starting point. Life in hackintosh for me was try try try haha, untill it worked. Google was my best friend, and from there tonymacx86Very nice answer. I use separate ssds (one for Windows, and another one for sierra). I have to install the same EFI folder i have and used to install osx with my usb stick) on the ssd sierra EFI folder ?
Other and last question i hope When osx is installed, but no graphics, no nothing, what do i have to install ? multibeast ? only Kexts ? I didn't find what to do at the end of the story (when sierra is installed).
Page 1agree agree agree!!! this is far not my first one, but x99 xeon was not as easy as usually. Where can i find your EFI ? For the moment i just installed the 1070 graphics, everything is working well. Let's attack usb 3, ethernet, etc
Ive forgot, for 10.12.4 you need to wait when i will post the update efi, sorry my bad, but you can Take from the Efi from first page kext,s, config.plistPage 1
I will work first time i've installed mac os was on my external HDD via usb 3, it took a while but it works. My recomandation is to get a second hhh at least, or create a partition from Windows, then format it with disk utility in os x install process and use clover from an external usb stik or HDD to boot. But to try it is Ok to install it on one external HDD but dont blane the Performance cuz will be bad... Also back up all your sensitive data If you plan to install it on your Windows drive.Man I'm lost with all this, so if I install on separate drive I don't need to reinstall Windows 10, ok that's great. If I want iMessage, Hand Off etc to work I need to get a bluetooth and wifi card that's compatible yes? I saw there is a M.2 adapter which works great with a Apple Wifi/Bluetooth card though I have no idea what to do about antennae for it. Is it possible to install Mac OS on an SSD that's attached via a USB 3.1 adapter?
