Hackintosh Build:
CPU: Intel Core 15-9600K
Mobo: Gigabyte Z390-UD
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 1x8GB
PSU: Corsair RM 650x
SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB SATA 2.5" drive
Optical Drive: LG WH16NS40 Blu-ray Rewriter

I recently finished building a Hackintosh and after completing the BIOS settings from the Catalina Desktop Guide, I began loading macOS Catalina 10.15.6 onto my SSD when I ran into an error stating the following:

"macOS could not be installed on your computer

An error occurred while loading the installer resources.
Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again."

After seeing this message, I went to Google and saw that someone found a solution by unplugging all of their SATA drives except for the destination drive. I shut the computer down, unplugged the only other SATA device in my build (my optical drive), tried this and it did not work.

This is my first Hackintosh build and I am not entirely sure what to do. Following the guide on this site was pretty much smooth sailing up until now and I'm pretty much stumped.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wonder if the Crucial Ballistix RAM you mentioned it's the cause. In this link you can see that DDR4 RAM compatibility for hackintosh was only Corsair brand.

If someone can confirm that is not compatible please comment here.
