This ioreg shows battery status working (battery is 100% charged, AC adapter plugged in). What is the issue?

BTW, you're using APFS on HDD?

Yeah and wtf?! Shows as 0% in prefs and won't let me add to menu bar.

No doubt excessive boot delays causing that issue (HDD + APFS = Huge Mistake!)

Adding 16000ms poll delay didn't work, however I did notice that the battery icon does appear and then disappear immediately at login.
