Hello all, its been a while…..
No feedback here on the previous posts, unfortunately. Comments are welcome!
Anyhow,
Still fine tuning the Macintosh ITX mount.
Small additions as making the original on switch functional, I did modify the GPU-slot-lock and made an extra support around the top of the GPU card, for extra mechanical stability. The RX 480 is now fully functioning adding an extra display to this setup.
I am happy with the results.
As my current wish is to create an easy way to convert most small Macintosh models (with or without modification of the shells!)
I found a Mac Plus - for comparison/ adjustments of the ITX framework.
As a result I figured that there are three base models: 128-256-Plus+ dereviates and the Classic I - II and SE-SE30. This is also confirmed by Adrian, (known from the Adrians digital basement). In general the basic dimensions on both types are almost equal, as shown in the pictures.
Internal, there is some variation. On my current frame-design adjustments are needed to make both configurations possible.
As for Hackintoshing, I've not come to that yet. Sorry
