Hi,
Can anyone advise whether there's a list of recommended hardware (Mobo, CPU & GPU) for building an entry level, mid and high-end Desktop PC that is 100% guaranteed to work with Yosemite please? (not that I'm able to afford high-end hardware but am interested to know what does and does not work).
Found Yosemite seems to work very well on an Asus Sabertooth X58 Mobo but I've failed dismally to get the OS to work reliably on a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R. Was running (could not sign into iCloud nor download updates) but tried to re-install last-night and Yosemite would not even install. Kept on failing on .PKG files. Tried using two USB Drives with Unibeast and Multibeast on them that have worked previously and neither would allow for Yosemite to install.
