hi my laptop is having problems when loading my uni-beast mavericks usb.
The usb installs fine on my desktop btw.

anyway about the laptop , it loads the bootloader but when i click the installer it shows the apple logo for 1 second and then reboots the laptop back to the bootloader.

I have tried these kernel flags and no luck.

IGPEnabler=N GraphicsEnabler=N -x -v -f UseKernelCache=N dart=0
IGPEnabler=Y IGPlatformID=01660003 GraphicsEnabler=N dart=0 -v

i have also tried with hdmi.

BIOS settings;
AHCI
UEFI + Legacy OS Enabled
USB is 1 option in boot

Laptop specs:
samsung series 5 np530U3C
Intel core i5 3317u ivybridge 1.70ghz-2.4ghz
4GB RAM
500GB 5400RPM HDD
Wifi isn't compatible
Intel HM76
Intel HD4000

Thanks any help is appreciated.

boot with just -v and find out where it is stopping at, i just took a video with my phone bc the screen would go black before i could read where it was hanging up at

Sorry for it not being clear , back camera has bad focus so i had to use the front

looks like its stopping when its reading the drive,i don't really know, maybe someone else does, my guess the usb installer wasn't done right

The installer works great on my desktop computer

try recreating the installer usb, but with laptop support and not legacy usb

Do you have DEP (Data Execution Prevention) enabled in BIOS?

It could also be Local APIC (lapic) panic. Try with cpus=1.

Please DO NOT make duplicate posts. And, since it is clear you have not... read the rules: http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php

Also,

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

I managed to Install it using this kernel flag with EDP enabled in BIOS.
IGPEnabler=N GraphicsEnabler=N -x -v -f UseKernelCache=N dart=0

However the only issue i'm facing is that it will only boot in to the OS with -x safe mode flag. Not sure how to get around that but here is some pics.

Installation:

Here is where it gets stuck when I don't use -x in the kernel commands.

Any suggestions on how to move forward , I also noticed there is no Disk Utility in my apps. Not sure if that's because of SafeMode.

Try with dart=0. Chimera3 should enable your HD4000 @ 1366x768 automatically.
