When plugged into HDMI there is no second audio output to choose.

I have hda-gfx on the HDEF. Not on IGPU. How would I patch this?

Yes I am using patched AppleHDA

Yes I did enable the audio patches

From my patch repo: "HD4000 High Resolution"

[Solved] Intel HD4000 HDMI Audio/Video Laptop

Perfect. Thank you very much. Appreciated

Hi, I have no HDMI output on my Dell E6430 (Clover).
I tried to use parts of the config.plist posted earlier on this thread but had no results.

I think VoodooHDA is maybe creating problems.

I'm attaching CPU-Z report, config.plist and IOREG.

Can somebody give me a clue?

Thanks!

What do you mean by "HDMI output"? Video or audio?

Hello Rehabman, thanks for getting at it.
I mean litterally no signal, my external monitor doesn't get anything and doesn't show up in display prefs.

I used to have a ProBook 6570B which I configured perfectly with your guides. It got stolen two weeks ago so I had to quickly find something else for work reasons. I bought this Dell that has been configured by a UK guy and there are a few things I don't understand:
AppleHDA is not loading
Some kexts for Nvidia are loading

Waiting for your suggestions. GRAZIE MILLE!

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):
Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu

kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Ciao Rehabman, here are the files you asked for.

On this machine everything's working ok except for:
  • HDMI external output (Video and Audio)
  • Bluetooth
  • ALP Touchpad working erratically, basic functioning ok but scrolling not always, sometimes the pointer becomes huge for a second. Touchpad input does not always bring the vertical scrollbars on.
Thanks for the precious assistance.

AppleHDA is not loading because you installed VoodooHDA.
Search for appropriate PS2 kexts for your ALPS trackpad (I have no ALPS hardware, so I'm not tracking any development work).

For bluetooth, read FAQ: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

Just one more thing:
I tried a number of AppleIntelFramebufferCapri find/replace patches. I started with your suggestions then tried many more with no results.
The one currently in config.plist is probably different from your instructions.
