I got a Ryzen 5 4600G.. and a 4700G.

I'm reminded of the differences between the two M1 MacBook Airs that launched, there were 7 core GPU and 8 core GPU flavors. The added bonus with the 4600G is that it's 'USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternative Mode', Do they mean Thunderbolt Display?.

I noticed you're using SMBIOS iMac18,1

Formerly I use smbios MacPro7,1 then iMacPro1,1, but both smbios often/easy get black screen issue (most of Nred Artifacts kext)

What's you experience with 18,1

So far no black screen issue at all, others same result as MBP16,3.

I installed the latest Master of NootedRed last night and everything looks good. Took the opportunity to use Metal HUD and see what FPS No Mans Sky could throw out from the Radeon Graphics. Bottom right is the loading screen and is usually very jerky, but for 10 seconds during this sequence we are treated to 73 FPS of flying past stars. Of the three environments, the space station scores the highest likely because it's a closed environment, hitting 58.8 FPS. That's consistent too, aimlessly wondering around, interacting with NPCs, window shopping and trading. The open environments, on planet and in space, can hit anywhere between 30-50 FPS depending on what's happening on screen, those are quite impressive numbers. The 4700G is arriving today and I have a day off!.

@shuhung,

I’m interested to know, what is the AMD audio device you have and how is it configured? Do you have any PCI device properties added in your EFI or is it left blank?

Reason I’m asking is I’m having some issues enabling the 15E3 AMDZen audio driver on my Atari VCS despite it being supported by AppleALC. In the BIOS I have at least 3 audio settings to enable, two of which are Azalia based. I know that NRed is bringing the HD audio support over so am interested to see what it holds.

4700G up and running!, only 2 GB of VRAM available in BIOS though. After another reboot and visiting BIOS 8GB was available for VRAM again.

I agree, another option for Hackintosh Graphics, I hope we see more builds with NootedRed.

@pastrychef it's a short list, but so far confirmed are;

Ryzen 5 4600G with Radeon Vega Graphics (Renoir)
