I've been watching this CPU for the past couple of weeks, because of progress with NootedRed, can I get full acceleration in macOS?.

Consider it an experiment and don't set expectations too high. Looks interesting.

This project is under active research and development; There will be crashes here and there.

NootedRed.kext will run macOS Monterey and Ventura now. There are a few recent successes over at OSX-AMD, mostly laptops with AMD Vega graphics.

So what's in the box?. We are now the proud owner of a Ryzen 5 4600G, that's 6 cores and 12 threads (APU), yes internal Radeon Graphics!... (tumble weed)... Hear me out!. There are rumors that the NootedRed.kext is making progress, not only that, you also get a nice sticker!, and a low profile APU fan too. I paid $84.99 and tax was $7.33, that's a lot of CPU with attachments, for just over $92!.

Me too!. I haven't done any research obviously, but I have put together two EFI's for either the ASUS Prime A320I-K and the Gigabyte B450M DS3H WiFi. The 450 only has HDMI but WiFi and BT, the 320 only has flakey Ethernet but, it does have DP and HDMI.

What I've learned so far!, you don't need what's underlined in red. I am in the absolute minority of our community who are trying this!. It's only known to work on AMD laptops, so far!. You shouldn't use SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 even though I read it as MacPro7,1 that you shouldn't use. follow the AMD-OSX conversation in the Link below.

Below is an example of the correct EFI, remove WhatEverGreen and add the NootedRed.Kext.

I got a Ryzen 5 4600G!

Picked it up earlier from Micro Centre!, including sticker, CPU fan and tax $92!. Why?, because NootedRed.kext has made some progress recently and I wanted my next build to be different!. In theory full acceleration in macOS should be 1900 MHz, will I see that frequency in the 'About This Mac'...

I got it to boot!. Somebody mentioned a transparent dock, the about this Mac window is transparent and 2 GB was available for the vram in BIOS. The Ventura screen saver was smooth if noticeably pixelated along the edges.
