Hi,

Update 1st December 2011:

Installation:
- create USB via UniBeast
- start via UniBeast USB and start the USB installer via "-x -v"
- use an USB keyboard and mouse during installation
- after successful installation start again from the UniBeast USB and start the installed Lion via "-x -v"
- copy the attached fixed DSDT (DualLink fix for 1600x900 displays) on the desktop
- start newest MultiBeast 4.1 and select the following things:
- User DSDT
- NullCPUPowerManagement
- PS2 Mice and Keyboard
- hnaks AppleIntelE1000
- Chimera 1.6
- MacBookPro 8.1 Definition
- tonymacx86 remix theme
- Kext Utility

- install AppleHDADisabler and after reboot (to avoid kernel panic) the attached VoodooHDA
- now you can start your Hackintosh from the HDD without the UniBeast USB

working:
- I get full resoultion and QE/CI for the built in HD3000
- Bluetooth is working OOB
- LAN is working with AppleIntelE1000 kext
- Touchpad (easy gestures) and Keyboard is working with PS2 kext
- mute button
- volume buttons (FN + F6/F7)

not working:
- wireless lan - no kext for Broadcom 4313 VEN_14E4 DEV_4727
- sleep is not working

System:
- Core i5-2520M
- 1x4096MB
- Intel GMA 3000HD (ID 0126) (VGA and DisplayPort Connector)
- Chipset: Mobile Intel® HM65 Express
- UMTS Modem recognized out of the box but not tested yet
- WLAN no kext (BCM4313 DEV ID 4727)

MaLd0n fixed the DSDT for me.

I hope that we can get the rest working together.

Regards Stephan

Hi,

I have tried the above steps and installed the MAC on 6460b however after installation when i tried booting into hard drive with -x -v, the boot process hangs/stops at DSMOS has arrived....

Any help in this regards is much appreciated.....

Model: ProBook 6460b
RAM: 4 GB
Intel i5

Can you send a screenshot? Thanks

I tried our method with the newest and the indicated version of multibeast:

Install > ok
1st boot on HDD via USB > OK
Multibeast & 1 Kext only > OK
Reboot (still HDD via USB) (-v option) > Lot of verbose... then black screen with backlight on

Any Idea?

ProBook 6460b (i5 2.50Ghz = 2450M)

no dsdt loaded? -> therefore a black screen

Do you copied it to the "desktop" and started multibeat and selected UserDSDT?
Do you've also 1600*900 display?

DSDT to the desktop & UserDSDT checked > Yes

Natively in 1366xzzzz at 1st boot

Hi, I think the name must not be DSDT.aml
But my native solution on this laptop is 1600*900 therefore the DSDT is patched to support this.

Maybe this is the problem with yours and you do not need the fix.

Your DSDT is only used to reach 1600*900?

yes otherwise I was not able to boot with resolution and got a black screen.
I adopted the Dual-Link fix to my dsdt and medlon helped me to get it to compile again.

I could boot via chimera on the HDD after installing the DSDT.
