Hello H-Mac people! After some discussion on this thread graphic card for mini-ATX Hackintosh, I just installed a Radeon Pro WX 4100 in my hackintosh. It got recognised instantly but the boot process was directly going to the native GPU, making impossible to follow the boot options. Any idea how to setup the new GPU as the principal one?
THanx!

Thank you @Starry48. I managed to make the new one as the primary GPU. However, I have a black screen and I cannot go further. any ideas?

@soklasokla,

You should set the dGPU (AMD WX 4100) as the primary display adapter in the BIOS, you should leave the IGPU enabled and configure it as headless using WhatEverGeen (WEG), see section 4.2 for more information in this guide :-

Use iMac19,1 SMBIOS and PlatformID 0x3E920003 or 0x3E910003 to configure the IGPU as "Headless"
Installing WEG should also fix the black screen issue as it will ensure a compatible AMD framebuffer is injected.

Cheers

things got worse... I installed the kext files but by hackintosh doesnt boot anymore. It freezes during the Macosx reboot process and the colour of the logo is blue

You can use your original UniBeast installer to boot back into your system. Graphics can be finessed by cursoring to the Options icon under the main Clover drive icons. Go to Graphics and look for RadeonDeInit / DeInit as an option. Tick the box, back out and boot. Hopefully that w ill get you in.

:)

after trial and error, I managed to get into the macosx by using both screens at the same time. I'm still following the methode to install the new graphics card. Thanx again everyone!

@soklasokla,

Why are you trying to open it ?

Just download Lilu & WEG from the links in the guide and install the kexts ...

Hey @jaymonkey! this is done
I cannot figure out how to modify the rest of the info you suggested

The problem now is that if I don't have two monitors connected at the same time, I cannot succesfully boot. If I use only the Radeon card, I have a black screen.

according to Hackintool I have the following characteristics
