That is audio from your graphics card not your Bluetooth module.

I noticed that now, just had to reboot a couple of times after the USB fix, and then the Bluetooth started working.
Thanks anyway for the heads up =)

Use this method to update the bios most thoroughly.
However, you need to manually set up bios after the update.

(I tried to modify the boot logo and I can only update it with this method)
If there is a problem with usb after the update, you may need to clean up the system cache and nvram

@3dadd My board is similar to yours, I modified the thunderbolt 3 SSDT with some help from @kgp attached below, and I gave up on getting sleep to work. I think it might have something to do with not having created a custom USB kext.

Tried your enclosed SSDT. (placed in EFI Folder: Clover>ACPI>Patched
No luck. Are there steps I'm missing? clearing cache or other steps

thanks for the assist.

This MoBo works well other than the sleep issue .

Dear KGP
Thank you for your sharing.
7980xe, evga 1080ti, asus prime x299 deluxe.
The question is, in the High Sierra version
a.) Enhanced Intel Speed Step Technology (EIST): Disbaled
And
In Mojave
Enhanced Intel Speed Step Technology (EIST): Enabled
is. I wonder which is right.

Just disable EIST, anything else as described in my guides.

Thanks again. If nvidiawebdriver comes out and updates to Mojave ... Is it possible to change to EIST: ENABLE?

Dear KGP One more question.
I am using the evga 1080ti hybrid.
I am using dual monitor as DP prot.
When I first installed and used it, I could see the BIOS screen and boot screen, but I can not see the screens from any moment during use.
It will boot after black screen.
I want to know what the problem is.

Definition - What does Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology (EIST) mean?
Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST) is a power and thermal management technology developed by Intel. EIST was introduced as a means of enabling high performance while meeting the power-saving needs of a mobile computer system.
Essentially, EIST throttles the clock speed of a central processing unit (CPU) during periods requiring minimal demand. It then brings the clock speed back up to its maximum potential when demanded by the load . This allows a computer to save power when there is less to process, yet still achieve high performance when the demand is high.
This technology is available in Core branded processors.

It seems to me that if you are following KGPs guide and overclocking, you would want to keep this disabled. It wouldn't matter what operating system you use.

You would only want this if you are trying to save power, or thermally trying to keep CPU cool.

Thank you for your kind explanation.
understand.
Have a good day
