This was one of the laptops I had been researching, but I ended up going with ASUS UX430 - seemed like nicer exterior and noticed the Acer screens were not that bright. Just make sure to do side by side compare.
Here are links from my research on the E5-575G, there are people running them but variation of the model can have slightly different sound hardware, wifi card, etc.. so you really have to just take the plunge and do your best to work on getting it working - and ask for help along the way where you need it.
