Hello everyone,

I have been having a tough time with a certain bug within my Hackintosh system. Everything is fully functioning, including USB's however it fails to work when I have large external hard drives attached. Weirdly, the BIOS recognizes the hard drives as USB Mass Storage Devices, and I have confirmed on another mac that the hard drives are in fact fully functional.

I have tried replacing kext files like USBInjectAll.kext, and altering the AppleHDA, AppleUSBXHCIPCI kernels, etc. Within the BIOS, usb XHCI handoff is enabled.

Here is my build:
Gigabyte Z370 DS3H
AMD Rx580
Intel 8700k
G. Skill Ripjaws V series Ram

Are there any other kexts I should be looking out for?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you

try putting XHCI-200-series-injector.kext and also USB port limit expander patch based on your OSX version

Thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately they didn't do anything. I was thinking of just by passing the USB and plugging the drives directly to Sata with an eSata to Sata cable.
