Repair permissions, boot without caches, rebuild cache, reboot normally.

Make sure your graphics kexts are vanilla. Do a fresh install if you're not certain.

Check system.log for errors.

I suspect you've been tampering with the kexts.

Would it work if I copied the kexts from a VMware image? And which kexts do I have to copy? Thanks

Do a fresh install to restore the kexts to vanilla.

I cannot predict which kext has been tampered with (AppleIntelFramebufferAzul or AppleIntelHD5000Graphics). Tampering with either can lead to the problem you have (AppleIntelHD5000Graphics not loading).
