Here are the specs of my custom build:
Quad-core 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 3570K Ivy Bridge CPU
GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Motherboard
No discrete graphics card, only Intel HD Graphics 4000
8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
Crucial m4 SSD
I had to boot the installer with the -x boot command (safe mode), and when I did that the installer booted fine. After using MultiBeast, I still have to boot into OS X with safe mode. If I don't, sometimes I get a kernel panic, sometimes I get a "waiting for root device" error or something along those lines. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, is the motherboard I am using a Sandy Bridge motherboard? I want to know if I should install the fix provided for a combination of sandy bridge motherboard and ivy bridge CPU. Thanks to anyone who responds.
