[Guide] Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro High Sierra 10.13.6

Hi guys.
I found a useful function for the trackpad - moving with two taps of the window (text selection and so on).
There is this: Accessebility -> mouse and trackpad -> options trackpad.
It has three modes:
a) without drag lock
b) with drag lock
c) three finger drag

The most suitable option with "without drag lock" (like it works by default in Windows), but unfortunately "without drag lock" still works like with drag lock.
Maybe someone knows how to fix this?

I use release EFI_1.2.8 (@Steeeeeeve)

UPD:
Sorry, the question removes.
It turns out you need to do a little longer pause between double tap and third

That's a problem , too. Wish it worked as windows , without the need of the pause.

Hello everyone,

The mod development in the Mi notebook pro community has been running lately and I created a github repo with all the available information about patches, fan curve moding, macos and others. https://github.com/Cr0wTom/Mi-Notebook-Pro-Mods

Feel free to commend, star and tell me your opinion or open issues for stuff that need fix.

:D

but unfortunately "without drag lock" still works like with drag lock.

Nothing to fix. It works as designed (you would find the same on a Mac).
The double-tap-hold-drag is cancelled by another tap or 1 second timeout.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

If you want. You have 3v on sd card, it's more easy.

Anyone found a way to clear the CMOS on this laptop ?
I either forgot the password I set a few months back, which surprises me since I always use the same for bios passwords, or I ended up wanting to remove it and left the field blank, but it won't accept anything I throw at it.
I tried reinstalling the bios with forceflash password enabled in the Insyde H2O bios flashing tool, I tried adding a clearcmos parameter to it, I tried removing the battery for a few hours (someone said there was no cmos battery on this laptop in the thread and that it was just the battery itself, which I would find very weird). And I'm at a loss here I can't find a solution to reset this.

Surely Xiaomi got some sort of backdoor or something that allows them to clear the CMOS if they need it ?

Is it some kind of capacitor somewhere instead of a battery ?

Also another question, I installed a BCM94352Z_2 but it's working half the time, I opened a thread about it here :

Thank you so much for this clarification, it was driving me crazy, literally. I too thought it was a flaw in the hackintosh system rather than a fully intended feature of Mac Os.
