I tried this tutorial on the new Xiaomi Air 2018 (13" i5 u8250) but have no trackpad or keyboard. Any tips?
Experienced the same. I got it running using a configuration for the previous Xiaomi Air model. Things seem to work quite ok, the trackpad experience and keymaps are not very good though. Don't have a lot of experience yet in this topic yet, but would be interesting to get this model running like the Notebook pro.

Hi everybody! First of all, thank your @Razorkey for your guide. I could install everything following your guide and daliansky one. Everything is working great except things you said.

On the one hand, HDMI is ok (1080p and 2k tested), but when I connect the cable, the screen turns black, as you said. And I have to restart the MI. Do you have a fix for this?

On the other hand, If I boot with your CLOVER folder, then I see bluetooth in system preferences but nothing appears in the list (I know that's because the firmware didn't load the devices because I don't have dual booting, just mac os). But, If I boot with daliansky CLOVER folder, then the bluetooth option is not in the system preferences. Is there any way to change the internal BT to work as "USB" or it won't work at least.

By the way, I've tested the internal SD reader, and it doesn't work at all.

About wifi, I'm working with WIFI usb dongle for now. I've bought all components of @owenlars guide to have internal wifi but I have to wait some weeks to receive them :)

Hi Everyone, just a quick update on the Broadcom Internal WiFi Solution.

I tested out Daliansky's latest Clover updates (13th April), and found that it disabled the Broadcom Internal WiFi.

There is a fairly easy fix for this, which requires a couple of Kexts to be installed after you complete the Daliansky install.

I have updated my installation guide to include the instructions for this fix.

Happy Hackintoshing Everyone!

Thank you for this! I was wondering, since I'm in the US and I can't find anything decent on ebay to buy, would these amazon purchases likely work? I found a similar chip and a different adapter. I imagine the adapter doesn't matter as long as it's the E key to M key.

@kingfoot That adapter you found on Amazon won't work, that is a mini PCIe to m.2 adapter.

The WiFi module looks like the correct one, should work.

You could try this adapter:

In theory it should work. The only issue might be the height of those connectors. You might struggle to get the cover back on.

The reason I didn't try that one is that the shipping to the UK was stupid expensive, plus i was concerned about the height. I guess for you the local shipping should be reasonable, so it might be worth a try.

Honestly though, I would keep searching for the one I recommend in the guide, it's got a lower profile, so it just about fits, with a slight bulge!

HI @owenlars . I''ve bought this:

I've bought A to M key because the E to M key you linked in the guide was not available. I think A key will work with the broadcom chip, because E key fits A key too :). It will work in the notebook pro, right?

Hi guys ,I have finally installed macOS.
I have just some problem with the trackpad is quite laggy and even the 2 fingers gesture are not working,do u have any suggestion?

Hi @alexmenn I think the A to M key should work. The Broadcom WiFi module has both A and E keys on it, so it will physically fit, and i think the connections through the A key should be compatible.

Thanks. I looked at the adapter specs and it says it's 5mm high. I just opened my laptop and measured from the pcb to the top of the battery is almost exactly 5mm! I'll order this adapter and see what happens. In theory shouldn't any Broadcom E key work?

Hi guys
I want to ask if someone was able to disable the internal Bluetooth adapter using the USBInjectAll.kext ?
I’ve looked in the manual here in the site and I can’t figure out how to do it and I think it’s above my level , so if someone was able to do it I will be more than happy to get his Kext so I can use it on my machine , this is last thing I need to do to have a stable working machine for my use.
Thanks
