Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

i can't find IORegistryExplorer v2.1
 
My probook 6560b (hd3000) stuck on boot after updating to 10.10.3 and running the hp probook installer. Actually it boots normally but the screen doesn't show up normally. See attached image. With the probook installer I only installed dsdt, relevant kexts and ssdt.aml.

I tried different flags as well as safe, verbose modes and booting without caching and injected kexts. Thanks in advance.

Your troubles are probably caused by USB WiFi. No need to use USB WiFi since your laptop has no WiFi whitelist. You can install a compatible half-mini PCIe WiFi card.

Also, remove Boom.

Summary: Test without Boom and without USB WiFi.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Done updating profile.
In PBI CE I selected HP 6560b kexts, dsdt repatch (w/ quiet fan patch) and ssdt.
(I think i forgot to select low resolution screen)

You must select a screen type. Follow the guide.

Instructions for re-patching DSDT are in the guide. Boot using your USB...
