Update BIOS, switch from UEFI native to UEFI Hybrid in BIOS.

If you have the other G1, copy files in EFI partition to a FAT32 usb, then boot from it.

That worked, but only for two boot cycles and then it went back to the glitch. The only way I am able to consistently boot is by using the cpus=1 boot flag, but that severely hampers the processor.
Anything else to try?

Follow the guide carefully. It is clear your DSDT is unpatched.

FYI: ioreg shows power management working correctly. Power management has nothing to do with battery status.

nguyenmac, you say that WIFI + BT: AR5B195 (not recommended), Broadcom 43225HMB, 43225HMB.
so the broadcom one is better than the atheros? can you explain why, please?
Generally speaking, the best wifi+bt choice is the broadcom one?

Atheros Bluetooth can't use only native OS X kexts, they need a firmware uploader to make it work, while Broadcom Bluetooth use native kexts.
