- Lenovo T440s
What you said makes sense, I just removed them from my system to clean up the SSDT a bit. I'm ok letting the WhateverGreen kext do it for me.I did take care of that long time ago, i just had no time to update the guide.
Some of these changes have been on GitHub for some time, despite having the SSDTs on hotpatch folder, i just had updated the SSDT-T440S.aml and config.plist.
SSDT-IMEI is still there and used, i prefer SSDT over kexts, if kext fails, IMEI injection fails.
So i let WhateverGreen do only the graphics part.
SSDT-PNLF is still needed even for WhateverGreen
They even include it on their release folder.
But what i use is Rehabman SSDT-PNLF & AppleBacklightFixup.kext
Clover bootloader is ofc used from the main branch on sourceforge as Rehabman fork is outdated for quite some time.
I plan to release the guide later today as it is almost completed.
You can continue using the SSDT-PNLF and the AppleBacklightFixup.kext, but v1.2.5 of WhateverGreen (https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/releases/tag/1.2.5) added that natively. You can disable the backlight injection by using the applbkl=0 boot argument.
EDIT: You might be right about still needing the PNLF SSDT. I thought I had removed it, but I can double check on my system later.
