[Guide] Intel Kaby Lake NUC7 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7BNH, NUC7i5BNK, NUC7i3BNH, etc)

You probably forgot to install new kexts before the update, so you ended up with an incompatible Lilu.kext.

Confirmation: Thanks to RehabMan's fast and great support I was able to setup my NUC7I5 with Samsung NVMe 960 EVO (250GB) and install 10.13.1. The update to 10.13.2 went fine as well after following the Guide "Mayor Updates" with updated Clover version and latest Kexts.

Thanks again!

Thanks for that! :) Works fine now. Makes me wonder if the built-in Bluetooth works if the USB dongle is removed? Probably not.

It's identified as a bluetooth device, but it's not functional (can't be turned on and off, doesn't pair, etc).

Hi guys ,
First , Thanks RehabMan for the files and auto you provided , they were very good !
I successfully installed OS X Sierra on my Nuc7i5BNH (Ethernet working ,and booting without the USB stick) but I ran into a little problem : I can't log in to the Mac App Store..
As you can find in the attached image , the Mac is recognized by apple.

The App Store ask me to log in , I click on log in and then the popup disappear , but I still not connected. I would like to know if it was normal, and if not, do you have any solutions?
I tried to clear my App Store cache but it doesn't changed anything
You can also find my Clover files attached.
Thanks

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete/wrong (EFI not requested, only EFI/Clover... other files and output missing completely).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

I finally found the solution. I had deleted the App Store cache, boot without cache and created another iTunes account and I was able to log in iTunes/App Store. Thanks again for your tuto and your scripts , that were very helpful.

I finally run into a problem while a was trying to install Windows in dual boot with MacOS : I have a windows .iso and I tried to create a bootable key using bootcamp , but I always have an error saying that Bootcamp can't get the specifics drivers from internet. So I create it from a windows PC, and when I'm trying to install it (I had already created the partition for Windows) it tells me that it is not possible because of the use of a MBR partition , and so I have to format my SSD..

Do you have any solutions for that?
Thanks

Dual boot instructions/info are in the main Clover laptop guide.
It is linked from post #1, but here it is again:

it worked, thanks !

Good news:

I removed the Skylake spoof (again) and updated to the latest repositories and config plist. Without making any changes to those defaults I can confirm that 4k 60hz works every way I can try. That includes:

1. Belkin USB-C to HDMI adapter + HDMI 2 cable
2. Choetech USB-C to DP cable
3. HDMI 2 cable!

Number 3 is the big win for me as it frees up the USB-C port! Amazing. Thanks @RehabMan!

How did you connected both monitors on HDMI port? Did you use some kind of HDM switch / splitter? I get flickering monitor using HDMI, but not with USB-C.

Did your first option "1. Belkin USB-C to HDMI adapter + HDMI 2 cable" uses 2 HDMI cables connected with one USB-C adapter? releasing one HDMI port free on the NUC?

Also, here is a few alternative patches. For these tests, disable the two patches: "0x59260002 0x59270004 2xDP, #1 of 2", "0x59260002 0x59270004 2xDP, #2 of 2"

alt#1 (this is the same as repo patches, but 0105 and 0204 reversed):

RehabMan first of all thanks, it was my first hackintosh and i manage to do it only because of your guide.

I am trying to get 3 monitors displays configuration (2 of them are 4K monitors, Dell P2415Q). Tried to use MTS daisy chain monitor configuration but the macOS only recognize one monitor and mirror the second one, i made a quick search and it seems daisy chain is not supported by mac.

Do you know if it will work and recognize 2 monitors with an USB-C (male) + 2HDMI (female) adapter?

Now i am using first monitor (4k) connected with HDMI-HDMI cable (flickering screen) and second monitor (4k) with Display-port to USB-C. Third monitor (HD) does not have a port to be connected and is useless now.

Do you have any ideas? Does this alternative patches can help?
