It's been a while since I downgraded to made audio work, so I haven't tried fixing audio with El Capitan and a newer BIOS version. The BIOS for our motherboard hasn't been upgraded a while, so I'm sure they have not fixed - but the clover injection does some clever stuff. But I have a stable system right now, so I won't test this in the near future.
I can live with the fast USB but not the missing audio, so I would definitely downgrade to 2103!
